Bernardo Beri and Guido Ceccarelli start Metallurgica Alta Brianza S.p.A. in Suello, the first company in the area to produce cold drawn steel bars.
Luigi Baggioli joins the Company. He has been CEO since 1967.
TEL LED ITALIANA of Trezzano sul Naviglio, a competitor in the production of free cutting steels, is acquired.
SITRA of Milan, a competitor in the production of cold drawn flat bars for mechanical uses, is acquired.
MAB inaugurates the headquarters of Garbagnate Monastero. The administrative, commercial and shipping offices are transferred here.
A new plant in Lecco is purchased. Between 2001 and 2004 all the company business is transferred here.
MAB exceeds 50,000 tons of production in a single year.
MAB celebrates its 70th birthday and presents the MAB70® product range.
